We designed and built these tables to last a lifetime. It is our hope that through their use, they can inherit enough meaning to survive even longer.

A dinner table is a place to gather friends and family, the heart of every home. It is the type of object that appreciates in value as it becomes ingrained with the stories and memories of the people that sit around it.

Inspired by the triangular forms found in trestle bridges, the Selkirk Table seamlessly integrates hardwood with industrial gauge metal to create an aesthetic driven by life on the Prairies. The brass fasteners, which allow for simple assembly, pay homage to the final golden spike traditionally used to celebrate the completion of a major railway project.

Built in Canada by skilled craftsman, each dining table is composed of a solid hardwood top, powder coated metal legs, and brass hardware. The tabletop is available in maple, cherry, or walnut and the legs come standard as either black or white semi-gloss. Custom hardwoods and powder coating colors/finishes are available upon request. The overall dimensions are 36” W x 72” L x 29.5” H.

Each Selkirk table is built on a made-to-order basis, just get in touch and we'll talk details.

The Selkirk Dining Table is currently featured in Tete Jaune, a traveling exhibit highlighting the top design from across the Prairie Provinces. The table has also been displayed at the fine retail spaces Kartar in Calgary and Starlight Lighting in Canmore.
